Returns Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

We want you to be happy with your EarGuards. This policy explains when you can return a product and how refunds work. It sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and never reduces them.

1.Faulty, damaged or not as described

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you're entitled to a replacement or a full refund under the Australian Consumer Law. Email us within a reasonable time of receiving your order and we'll make it right. We'll cover the cost of return postage.

Under the ACL, you can choose a refund or replacement for a major failure, and have an item repaired or replaced if it isn't of acceptable quality. These rights can't be excluded.

2.Change of mind

Because ear plugs are a personal hygiene product that is inserted into the ear, we can only accept change-of-mind returns on items that are unused and still in their original, unopened packaging.

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on ear plugs that have been opened or used. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty (see section 1).

3.How to request a return

  1. Email us at orders@earguard.com.au with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We'll reply the same business day with confirmation and a return address.
  3. Send it back (or, for faulty items, we may not need the product returned at all).

You can find your order number on your confirmation email or by using our order tracking page.

4.Refunds

Once your return is approved (or your faulty-item claim is confirmed), we'll process your refund to your original payment method via Stripe. Refunds are usually issued within 3 business days of approval; your bank may take a few extra days to show it.

5.Questions

If you are not sure whether your return qualifies, email orders@earguard.com.au and we'll help.
