Who is behind EarGuard

EarGuard is a small, Australian-owned business run from Brisbane, Queensland. We sell one product, do it properly, and put our name and ABN on it.

We run the business from a home base and do not publish a street address online. Any return address is provided by email when a return is approved.

What we sell

One product: EarGuard Class 2 reusable corded ear plugs. They are certified to AS/NZS 1270:2002 Class 2 with an SLC(80) rating of 14 dB under a current StandardsMark licence. EarGuard is the Australian importer and reseller of this certified product; we are not the manufacturer.

Class 2 is the right band for moderate industrial noise, roughly 85 to 95 dB(A): distribution centres, freezer and chiller warehouses, manufacturing floors, forklift and pallet-jack traffic. It is not rated for jackhammers or heavy plant. We say that plainly on the product page because selling the wrong class of hearing protection is how people get hurt.

Why this exists

EarGuard started on a Brisbane warehouse floor. Disposable foam plugs were being handed out by the box, thrown away by the shift, and lost down the side of pallets. A washable corded pair that lasts around three months costs less per month and does not end up on the floor. We sell that pair, priced per pair, with bulk tiers for teams and WHS coordinators.

How ordering works

• Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. All prices are in Australian dollars.
• Dispatch is same or next business day from Brisbane, via Australia Post.
• Shipping is Standard (2 to 7 business days) or Express (1 to 3 business days). Free Standard shipping applies above the threshold shown at checkout.
• Tracking is emailed when your order ships and is also available on the My orders page.
• Invoices are emailed automatically with every order.

Policies

• Returns Policy: 30-day change-of-mind returns on unopened packaging, and full Australian Consumer Law rights on anything faulty. We cover return postage on faulty items.
• Privacy Policy: what we collect, why, and how to have it removed.
• Terms of Service: the plain-English terms of buying from us.

Reviews

EarGuard is a new store, so we do not have a bank of reviews yet and we will not fabricate any. Every customer is invited to leave a review after delivery, and reviews are published as they come in.
